WHAT IS CIR?
CIR- or Crazy Insane Radio- is many things. It's a series largely set in the universe of Mergatroid City. CIR is the story of Judy Vincenni, the CEO of a huge cosmetics corporation, whose son is the Mergatroid serial killer and whose other son was a suicidal arsonist who burned down a major factory in Mergatroid. It is the story of the Quent family, left behind when the patriarch Senator Anderson Quent is assassinated. It is the story of Flashy the paperdoll and Woody the wood pulp boy, artificial life forms created by the biotech lab. It is the story of Count Pedestrian- an evil megalomaniac who rises to power as a worldwide warmongering King. It is the story of the energy time flux field and a parallel universe as well. In various episodes of CIR, we see all of this through the points of view of the various characters, such as Uncle Frank whose frequent calls to talk radio shows provides a running commentary on whatever is going on in Mergatroid at the time he calls in. Uncle Frank is the average Joe, more of a spectator to many events than a participant (with the exception of slugging Blatson the artist and firing a shotgun at the Mergatroid serial killer).
